Deconstructing Sackboy

This is an image created in collaboration with WIRED magazine UK and Sony.
Sony agreed to allow me to illustrate the inner workings of Little Big Planet's Sackboy video game character. The Exclusive for WIRED UK will be out April 1st.

Anatomy Illustrations Take top Prize in Dubai Festival!

My anatomy illustrations took top honors at the 2009 Dubai Lynx International Advertising Festival presented by Cannes Lions.

The Dubai International Advertising Festival brings together advertising talent from across the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA), as well as from around the world.

After teaming up with the Fortune Promoseven Ad Agency for a campaign promoting the Brainobrain Jumeira child development program, my signature anatomy schematics took home the Gold Medal in Print and the highest award of Grand Prix in the Outdoor category.

My work will now travel to the 56th International Advertising Festival in Cannes France to be judged in the juried show at the end of June this year.

Prime Surreal Estate

Had a great time at the show. Really enjoyed meeting some really groovy people. Turnout was huge, over a hundred by the time I had to leave. Ron English and his wife were a pleasure to chat with.

Dylan did a fantastic job putting together what was easily the best section of the festival and he and his crew deserve a round of applause! :)

Cant wait to do it again...

Mags and books features :)

It has been a busy three weeks with our new baby and all and a fantastic time for features on my illustrations. I will have the honor of having my work published in an upcoming book titled "Source Illustration Book" out sometime this fall. Produced by Maomao Publications and distributed by Harper Collins, I cant wait!

Also, out in the next month or so a Russian publication called "Khooligan" will showcase a collection of my works. Unfortunately only available in Russia.

Out next week will be a tutorial I wrote for "Digital Arts" on Non-destructive compositing in Photoshop.

Thanks to all of these fine rags for showing their love and confidence in my work :)
