It has been a busy three weeks with our new baby and all and a fantastic time for features on my illustrations. I will have the honor of having my work published in an upcoming book titled "Source Illustration Book" out sometime this fall. Produced by Maomao Publications and distributed by Harper Collins, I cant wait!
Also, out in the next month or so a Russian publication called "Khooligan" will showcase a collection of my works. Unfortunately only available in Russia.
Out next week will be a tutorial I wrote for "Digital Arts" on Non-destructive compositing in Photoshop.
Thanks to all of these fine rags for showing their love and confidence in my work :)

Al Jaffee's fold-ins for Mad magazine, from the 1960s to the present, in interactive form.
If your like me, then you grew up in the 70's and 80's, like spicy foods and read MAD Magazine.
Here is a nice collection of back page interactive fold ins illustrated by Al Jaffe.

Drawing Again :)
Its been a long time since I have allowed myself to draw. Just havent been in the mood. Well, an itching to draw and do some new characters has leeched into my bones recently and ive started it up again. here are some quick drawings i did over the weekend. It really felt good to push the pencil around the paper and explore the lines of these 3 little guys.
